I’m Abigail, I prefer being called “Abby” I think it sounds better than my whole name. I’m nineteen years old, and this is my first semester in college. My plans are to major in Criminal Justice, but I change my mind a lot, so you could say I am still somewhat undecided. I see that college is very different from what High school was, and I like it so far. I’m excited about finally being in college even though I do feel very nervous too. I am a mom of a sweet little 3 year-old girl. She is what inspires me to do more with my future, and she is also one of the reasons why I joined the Military. I’m proud to serve in The Army National Guard, I’m the first one in my family to join the military. I want to be her role model and make her feel proud of her mom. I’m a quiet, shy person when I’m introduced to new people, but after a while I become more talkative and I loosened up a little bit. I look forward to doing my best in this class for the whole semester, that is one of my goals.
